Required Materials

• Large wooden slice
• Small wooden slice
• Decoupage napkin
• Decoupage glue
• Cinnamon stick
• Natural dried buds
• Artificial decorative twigs
• Burlap ribbon with lace
• Hot glue gun

Crafting Steps

1. Preparing the Base

Start by gluing the two wooden slices together with a hot glue gun. If you are using one thicker slice, this step can be skipped. Then choose a suitable decoupage napkin and separate it into layers, keeping only the top layer with the image.

2. Applying the Decoupage

Cut out the desired image from the napkin. Apply decoupage glue evenly onto the wooden slice, then carefully glue the napkin to avoid wrinkles. Apply another layer of glue over the napkin to fix it in place.

3. Finishing the Base

Once the glue has dried, glue a thin burlap ribbon to the side of the slice to give it a finished look. Attach the small slice as the base of the decoration, using hot glue. Press firmly and hold briefly so it attaches securely.

4. Adding Decorative Elements

• Start with natural conifer twigs, arranging them at the top of the decoration.
• Add artificial decorative twigs, alternating different textures and colors.
• Add leaves and small accents for more detail.
• Finish with a cinnamon stick and a natural dried bud as the main accent.
