Strand or loose beads

It depends on the project:

• A strand — when you need a ready line in a set colour: for a whole necklace, a multi-strand bracelet or a decoration with a repeating motif.

• Working with clay and resin. Mix them into modelling clay or set them into a casting before it hardens.
• Festive decoration. Christmas garlands, wedding arrangements, themed parties.

For a piece of jewellery, you’ll need a base and a clasp — faceted beads have a narrow hole, so check that your chosen cord fits through.
