How to make a beautiful paper flower – handmade craft with EM ART

Required materials

• Colored A4 sheets
• Crepe paper
• Double-sided adhesive tape
• Wooden stick – for the flower stem
• Hot glue gun (or suitable glue)
• Scissors

Crafting steps

Step 1: Preparing the paper

1. Choose two colors of paper – one for the inside of the flower, the other for the outer petals.
2. Fold the first sheet lengthwise to the middle, then once again, so that you get three equal parts.
3. Cut off the third part, as you will only need two.

Step 2: Cutting the strips

1. Fold the paper again, this time along the short side.
2. Turn it over and start cutting narrow strips (about 1-2 cm wide), without reaching the end – leave about 1 cm of uncut part.
3. The finer the strips are, the more beautiful the flower will look.

Step 3: Assembling the flower

1. Unfold the cut paper and apply double-sided adhesive tape along the long side. Fold to stick the two edges together.
2. Roll the strip around the wooden stick, starting from one end.
3. Repeat the same procedure with the second color of paper to give the flower volume.

Step 4: Making the stem and leaves

1. Cut a narrow strip of crepe paper (about 1 cm wide) and stretch it slightly.
2. Wrap it around the wooden stick to create a natural look for the stem.
3. Cut several leaves from the crepe paper, shape them, and glue them to the stem.
