Step 1: Making a Template

The first thing you need to do is outline a carrot template with a pencil on thicker cardboard. The template should be large enough to create an impressive decoration. Once you have drawn the carrot, use scissors to cut it out. This will be the base for your decoration.

Step 2: Wrapping with Twine

Start wrapping the twine around the cardboard from the top and gradually cover the entire carrot, using hot glue from time to time to secure the twine firmly.

Step 3: Decorating with Greenery

Once you have covered the entire carrot with twine, take the green burlap and glue it to the top of the carrot. This will give the decoration a more natural look. Make a bouquet from the decorative branches and leaves and wrap thin wire around the stems to hold them together. Glue the finished greenery inside the burlap to create the carrot leaves.

Finally, cut a piece of twine and tie it around the burlap to shape the top of the carrot. If you wish, you can add more decorative elements by tying two smaller decorative carrots to the two ends of the twine ribbon. You can paint them with orange paint beforehand for a brighter effect.
