How to Easily Make a Bird Feeder

Necessary Materials

• A cardboard box of suitable size with a lid

Steps for Making a Bird Feeder

Step 1: Preparing the Box

Start by cutting the front part of the cardboard box on both sides so that it can be tucked inward and attached to the bottom. This will be the entrance of the feeder.

Step 2: Adding the Rope

Using scissors, make one hole on each side of the box and thread the cotton rope through them. Use hot glue to secure it firmly to the bottom of the box by gluing the cut-out front part over it. The rope will be used to hang the feeder.

Step 3: Decorating the Inside with Moss

Cover the bottom and the three sides of the feeder tightly with moss, to make it natural and comfortable for the birds.

Step 4: Make the Roof

Glue the lid of the box to its two sides at an angle; this way it will resemble the roof of a little house.

Use the colored wooden sticks to decorate the feeder. Glue them around the edges and along the walls of the box. You can alternate different colors to create a more interesting design.
