Both children and adults eagerly await the Christmas holidays. The brightest symbol of Christmas is the Christmas tree. Children are full of excitement, waiting for it to be decorated and for Santa Claus to leave the long-awaited gifts underneath.
In today’s article, you’ll see how you can turn simple styrofoam figures into magical decorations for your Christmas tree. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get ready for the holiday together!
Let’s get to work!
Materials needed:
Pearl-effect silver acrylic paint
Step 1: The first thing we need to do is paint our figures in different colors.

Step 2: Once the reindeer is painted for the first time, wait for it to dry and apply another coat for a deeper brown color. For decoration, I chose different colored decorative pearls. Place them right after the second coat so they can stick properly.

Step 3: Continue with the snowman. In addition to the white base, paint the arms and hat with light blue acrylic paint. Apply a pearl-silver outline along the edges. For a touch of sparkle, use white paint to attach the red half-round pearls.

Step 4: Just like in Step 3, for decorating our Christmas mitten, use white paint along the edges to make it look stitched. In the center, I painted a little star — you can create any design you like. Finally, add the buttons, using the red paint as glue.

Step 5: For the white snowflake, I decided to outline it with blue paint and place a lovely red ribbon in the center. To finish all the ornaments, tie a piece of jute or other string to each one.

And there we have it — our decorations are ready! Here’s the final result!

I hope my idea inspires you for your Christmas tree decoration!
