Christmas is one of the most important holidays for people all around the world. The end of the year is also a very special time — a season of giving, gatherings with friends and family. For Christians, Christmas is a deeply religious and emotional celebration. Decorate your home with various handmade decorations created together with your family — your children will love it!
Today, I’ll show you how to create Santa’s sleigh on a wooden board with charming Christmas details, in just a few easy steps.
Let’s get started!
Materials needed:
Step 1: Take the wooden board and apply a layer of glue to attach the artificial snow on top.

Step 2: Start assembling the wooden sleigh. Before doing that, paint it for an easier and neater result. I personally chose white and green for my figurine, but you can choose any colors you like. Be creative!

Step 3: Prepare the pinecones by gently brushing their edges with pearl white paint so they look like they’re covered with snow. Once dry, use the hot glue gun to attach them to the snow-covered board.

Step 4: It’s time to position the sleigh on the board. Apply hot glue to the bottom of the sleigh and gently press it onto the board until it’s firmly attached.

Step 5: Now let’s wrap the presents! You’ll need decorative paper — I chose gold and silver tones, but feel free to pick any you like. Using hot glue, wrap the different-sized styrofoam cubes and tie them with red or other colored ribbons.

Step 6: Here’s where you can get creative — arrange the gift bag and the presents on the board and inside the sleigh as you wish. You can glue them in place or simply position them freely. Decorate the scene with red flat pearls for a final festive touch.
And here is the final result — our beautiful handmade Christmas decoration!
