As we all know, the Christmas and New Year holidays are just around the corner. We’re all eagerly awaiting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We start shopping for garlands, decorations, trees, and all sorts of festive items to make our homes warmer and cozier — both for ourselves and for our guests.
But why not make something by ourselves?
In this article, you’ll see how, with just a few materials and in no time at all, you can create a beautiful decorative Christmas tree!
Materials needed:
Let’s get started!
Step 1: The first thing to do is make small white and green balls from the coconut grass.

Step 2: Using the glue gun and hot glue, attach the balls onto the styrofoam cone. Add pine cones in places of your choice.

Step 3: Once you’ve glued the coconut grass balls and some of the pine cones, start decorating with different ribbons, red pearls, and flowers. I personally added anise stars, but you can improvise and use other decorative elements.

Step 4: To finish your decorative Christmas tree, make a ribbon bow for the top. I used a red velvet ribbon, but you can choose any color or material you like.
This is how our magnificent Christmas tree looks when finished!
