FORTUNE MESSAGES FOR THE NEW YEAR

FORTUNE MESSAGES FOR THE NEW YEAR

The best time of the year is the days before Christmas and New Year. People around the world follow different traditions and rituals that they have learned from their families and loved ones. One of these beloved traditions is the New Year’s fortune "banitsa" (a traditional Bulgarian pastry) — the most delightful surprise on the festive table that brings joy to both young and old. Years ago, fortunes were made only from cornel twigs. Today, there are many ready-made paper fortunes with wishes that can be placed inside the "banitsa".

Today, I’ll show you how to make easy and quick fortune charms!

Let’s begin!

Materials needed:

Red satin ribbon

Decorative elements

Plastic candy container

Paper rose bouquet

Styrofoam balls

Step 1: Wrap the fortune message inside a small paper rose.

Step 2: Place a few styrofoam balls, a small decorative figure, and the wrapped fortune rose inside each candy container.

Step 3: After placing all the decorative elements, close the candy and tie both ends with the red ribbon.

And here it is — our lovely Christmas surprise is ready!
